A research project that examined the effectiveness of the MBTI® assessment as a team-building tool... focused on whether the MBTI instrument is a useful tool for overcoming communication barriers and building trust among leaders and teams.

Shows Emotional Intelligence Improves Organizational Climate and Bottom-Line Performance

The three-year study was conducted... in Europe. Key findings include:
1.    For individual managers, emotional intelligence scores predict 47% of the variation in manager's performance scores.
2.    Emotional intelligence predicts 76% of the variation in organizational engagement.
3.    Plants with higher organizational engagement achieved higher bottom-line results.
4.    In addition, during the project, employee turnover also dropped by 63%.
